Ginger Lemon Rice
Makes: 2 Servings
Ingredients:
3 Cups Rice 8 Cups Water 1/2 Cup Chopped Ginger 1/2 Teaspoon Coriander 1 Chopped Purple Onion 1/2 Cup Peanuts 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil 1 Teaspoon Chilli Powder Salt (desired amount) Red Chillies (garnish) Channa Dahl (garnish) 1/2 Tablespoon Turmeric Powder 2 Lemons - Juiced
Directions:
1) Boil water & add rice. 2) Put vegetable oil in a frying pan & heat. 3) Add chopped vegetables to the frying pan & fry. 4) Blend in spices & mix thoroughly. 5) Sprinkle salt over the top. 6) Combine lemon juice, rice, and frying pan contents & mix thoroughly.
